What are Popcorns?
Popcorns are VeYou's in-app currency used to unlock and watch paid content.
How can I buy Popcorns?
VeYou’s Popcorns are available for purchase in packs of varying amounts. They can be bought via in-app purchases through the Apple App Store on iOS and the Google Play Store on Android.
Do I need to be logged in to buy Popcorns?
No, but logging into your Apple or Google account on VeYou is strongly recommended. However, if you delete the VeYou app while using a guest account, you may permanently lose your remaining Popcorn balance.
Can I buy Popcorns in any currency?
Yes. You can purchase Popcorn packs through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The billing currency is determined by the country linked to the store account. Because VeYou is available in over 50 countries, we support the local currencies of all those regions via standard in-app purchases.
Does Popcorns work across iOS and Android?
Yes. As long as you are logged into the same Apple or Google account on VeYou across those devices, your Popcorn balance and unlocked content will sync across all iOS and Android devices.
After I unlock a paid content using Popcorns, does the access ever expire?
No. Paid content unlocked with Popcorns remains permanently accessible, provided your account is active and the content is still available on the VeYou service.
I purchased an Access Pass for a series, what happens to the series I already bought?
The Access Pass was an earlier purchase option for VeYou’s early adopters and Access Pass purchases expired 30 days after purchase. VeYou has transitioned to an in-app currency called Popcorns to give you more flexibility in what you watch. We no longer offer Access Pass option to purchase series.
As a thank-you to our early adopters, VeYou will permanently unlock any series you previously purchased. Additionally, you will receive a one-time bonus of 100 Popcorns.
Does my Popcorn balance expire?
No. Your balance does not expire as long as your account remains active. You can view your current balance and transaction history by navigating to My Wallet in the VeYou profile settings.
Can I get a refund on Popcorn I've purchased?
Refunds are subject to the policies of the platform (Apple and Google) where the purchase was made. Please request refunds directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store standard refund processes.
Can I transfer Popcorn between accounts?
No. Popcorn balances are strictly tied to the specific account used to purchase them and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Why did the Popcorn cost for an episode change?
Number of Popcorns needed to unlock paid content may vary depending on the series, release recency, or active promotional discounts. The required amount of Popcorns will always be displayed clearly on the unlock button before you confirm.
